Kinesiotaping

Kinesiotaping is a commonly used technique to treat areas of pain, improve athletic performance and enhance recovery. The “stretchy” tape is applied with varying degrees of tension to create a microscopic lift under the skin. This allows for increased blood flow to certain areas, as well as removal of inflammatory factors more quickly. When applied correctly, kinesiotape can assist in muscle activation, reduce the tension in a muscle, or eliminate swelling.

At Reneu, kinesiotaping is used to prolong the effects of our manual therapy and assist in recovery and performance.
